I learned ownership by carrying systems from decision to incident.

I’m a founding engineer. In practice that means I decide what to build, build it, and get woken up when it breaks.

Most of my time goes to AfterBoards and AfterGrad, exam-prep products for IPMAT, CUET and CAT. I’m the only engineer on both. Two Next.js apps, two Expo apps and seventeen shared packages in one Turborepo. They are used by tens of thousands of learners, and the exam engine has submitted and analyzed 100,000+ attempts while supporting roughly 500 simultaneous exam takers at peak. Producing a question set once occupied a 30-person content team for a day. The first pipeline reduced that to two reviewers in under an hour; the current workflow runs without routine manual handling.

The moment I’m proudest of isn’t a feature. Razorpay went down during a live session and I restored checkout on Cashfree in about thirty minutes. Cashfree was already integrated behind the same payment interface; the incident proved why that earlier design work mattered.

Outside AfterBoards I take on builds in domains where the rules are specific and unforgiving. Road transport and GST, pharma wholesale, 3D-print commerce. I like those because you cannot fake understanding them. Either the GST return matches what the accountant expects or it does not. The work has the details, and systems has the parts that were actually hard.
