Founding engineer · sole engineering owner
Two exam-prep brands delivered as two Next.js products and two Expo apps on one 17-package Turborepo. I own the product code, releases, and production operation end to end.
Timed exam engine100,000+ attempts
Resumable attempts, server-authoritative scoring, section-wise analytics, disconnect recovery, and roughly 500 simultaneous exam takers at peak.
AI content pipeline30 people → automated
Four providers with automatic fallback, schema validation, repair workflows, and visible failure states.
Server-authoritative multiplayer
Scoped client tokens, atomic first-answer guards, coordinator failover, and no answer keys sent to clients during a live question.
I'm the only engineer on AfterBoards and AfterGrad, exam prep for IPMAT, CUET and CAT. Four apps on one Turborepo: two Next.js sites, two Expo apps. I built the payout settlement, the timed exam engine, the live multiplayer rounds, and the AI pipeline the content team writes questions with. I also carry the pager.
Next.js · React Native · TypeScript · MongoDB · AI
I led a team of three, two frontend and one backend, building the driver and rider apps for a Guwahati ride-hailing startup. React Native, live GPS tracking, Azure backend. First time I'd been responsible for other people's code as well as my own.
I built the MVP that became AfterBoards. For most of that stretch I was doing it alongside the an2 cabs job. Once the product started earning, I joined full-time.
